One of my favorite indulgences in life is food. I freakin’ love good food and Laguna Beach has no shortage of enticing dining. Of all the restaurants I frequent, Oak Laguna Beach is the ONE I recommend to literally anybody. Named after it’s location on Oak Street, Oak is the perfect restaurant for any occasion.

Having girls brunch on a Sunday?
Feeling fancy for date night on a Friday?
Family is hungry on a Wednesday evening?

Oak is the perfect spot for all of the above! I love that I can show up in my yoga pants one day and arrive in a dress the next day. And yes, I have eaten there multiple days in a row; it’s that delicious.

Oak has some savory dishes AND they source many of their ingredients locally and pride themselves on their flavor and quality.

Speaking of savory…

Oak Laguna Beach has SO many appetizers! 🤤 Try the Charcuterie Board or the Crispy Ahi Tuna Tacos. For lunch their Shrimp Spaghetti will fill your belly. For dinner the Oak Burger (with Wagyu beef, secret sauce, and perfectly seasoned French fries) will leave you happily satisfied. One thing I love about Oak is that they gladly take my customized orders with no complaints! (Hello Chilaquilas on fries instead of chips OR the Smoked Bacon Tacos with lime crema instead of pineapple relish).

I almost skipped over dessert because I don’t have a sweet tooth but if you do, you can indulge in the Coffee & Donuts, Brioche Bread Pudding, or a fancy cocktail like the Godiva chocolate martini!

Now let’s talk about the DRINKS!

Oak has some of the most complex, specialty cocktails. 🍹 Order an Oak Mule and your drink will come in a classic copper mug with an aromatic sprig of rosemary. If you’re craving a sweet treat, try the Lavender Meringue that comes topped with lightly torched lemon egg white foam and fresh lavender. Their signature drink is the Lagunarita. Your taste buds will be delighted by the subtle blood orange flavor and the beautiful (and edible) orchid flower that floats on top of the drink.

Don’t worry, Oak also has plenty of beer and wine if you like to keep it simple.

Not to mention this little thing called VIEWS.

Oak is conveniently perched right above PCH (Coast Highway). Sit outside for fresh air and a lovely view of the ocean. If you prefer, the indoor dining area is spacious and open. I love sitting at the bar for the friendly bartenders (hey Kendra and Holly!) or to catch sports on the TV.

Whether you live locally or visit for a weekend, Oak Laguna Beach is the number one place I recommend to family, friends, AND strangers alike!

INSIDER TIP: For the best vibes, visit during their weekday happy hours or on Sunday’s for BRUNCH & BEATS! 🎶🎉
