Complete Guide To Laguna Beach Parks

Obviously you visit Laguna Beach for the BEACHES! But if you find yourself curious for a change of scenery, Laguna Beach parks are pretty luscious too! Check out these beautiful patches of nature if you want to escape the crowds and have a more relaxing time.

Alta Laguna Park

GREAT SPOT FOR: Sports. Picnics.
This is a large park with bathrooms, plenty of shady grass, picnic tables, tennis courts, a half basketball court, baseball diamond, and incredible views. This is also the entrance for the famous “Top of the World” hiking trails.

Bluebird Park is a large park with sprawling grassy areas perfect for picnicking! There are bathrooms, multiple playground areas, a pretty walking path, picnic benches, and a half basketball court. Dogs are not allowed at this park.

Browns Park

GREAT SPOT FOR: Family or group photos.
Enter the shaded walkway and you’ll be led to an ocean lookout. This is the location of two public art pieces known as “Sound and Sight” and “A Tranquil Moment”.

Crescent Bay Point Park

GREAT SPOT FOR: Morning coffee. Meditating. Catching the sunset.
This one is my personal favorites because of the clifftop views! Plenty of grass, views facing both south and north. No bathroom or playground, this is just a beautifully manicured lookout spot.

GREAT SPOT FOR: Solitude.
This tiny park is nestled between two homes. Just a simple lookout with a bench and vast canyon views.

Frederick M. Lang Park

GREAT SPOT FOR: Yoga or walking your dog.
Simply called Lang Park by locals, this one has a large grassy area, bathrooms, a playground, a pickle ball court (yeah, pickle ball!), shady areas, and pretty ocean views.

Heisler Park

GREAT SPOT FOR: People watching and views.
If there was one single Laguna Beach park to see, it’s Heisler Park! Walk the path through his sprawling oasis, surrounded by tons of palm trees and some of the most dazzling views in Laguna Beach. There’s even a cute gazebo. Walking distance to bathrooms at Main Beach.

Laguna Coast Wilderness Park (Willow Canyon)

GREAT SPOT FOR: Hiking with your kids.
This is your destination for some great hiking and enjoying the native flora and geography. Has a small visitor center and bathrooms.

Ruby Street Park

GREAT SPOT FOR: Catching the sunset.
This might be the most sought after of all the Laguna Beach parks! Although Ruby Street is hardly a park and more like a lookout point. This is a small and secluded spot with two chess tables and one bench overlooking the coves below.
