I live in a very tourist city where there is a LOT to see, do, and eat. I’ve got to rave about these rooftop views and this mouth-watering food! My boyfriend and I frequent a lot of restaurants in Laguna Beach and Skyloft is one of our top 5! This multi-level restaurant, lounge, and rooftop bar has not only amazing ocean views but also the best buffalo wings in town – smoked in-house!
In these photos we ordered fish and chips (which are battered to perfection), the skyfries (drizzled in cheesy goodness and Cajun aioli) and the buffalo wings (not too spicy but loaded with flavor). For entree’s they have a great variety from cherry-glazed salmon to smokey BBQ ribs to creamy stroganoff or a good old fashioned burger! To wash it all down I love an amber beer or their cucumber basil martini.
If you come on a weekend try to arrive after peak lunch hours and before the dinner crowd. This is one of the most popular hotspots in town! You’re better off coming on a weekday so you can catch the amazing sunset views! Ladies if you are wearing heels, be prepared to walk a couple flights of stairs; coming down after some drinks might be tricky! And bring a sweater because the evenings can get cool and breezy.
If you only eat one place in Laguna Beach, choose Skyloft for the most all-encompassing experience! You can’t beat these panoramic rooftop views, great food, sports on the TV’s, live musicians on weekends, and always friendly bartenders!
