Oooooh sunsets. Do they make you feel romantic? Nostalgic? Spiritual? A little of each? There’s something so natural about pausing at the end of the day to revel in this spectacular show. It’s even better watching it over the Pacific Ocean, so I’ve narrowed down my TOP THREE favorite spots to catch an epic sunset in Laguna Beach. Enjoy the show. ☀️
#3 Rooftop Lounge
It wasn’t easy picking only three spots and Rooftop Lounge narrowly beat a couple other ocean front restaurants. This restaurant has unobstructed views of the ocean and surprisingly delicious food. I say surprisingly because I find the” “tourist spots” don’t have the best food (probably because they don’t have to try and earn their customers). But Rooftop Lounge doesn’t fall into that category so it lands the #3 spot. Come by to enjoy dinner and a cocktail while the sun sets in the distance.
#2 Brooks Street Beach
Brooks Street is an excellent spot to catch the sunset in Laguna Beach! While you could walk down to the sand, it’s also nice to hang out at the entrance/lookout area. There are rows of concrete seats to sit back and catch the beautiful show. This is also a popular surfing spot and it’s fun to watch them riding the waves. My boyfriend and I like to bring to-go dinner here to watch the surfers and sunset.
#1 Crescent Bay Point Park
Located in north Laguna Beach, this park is my absolute favorite spot for catching a sunset! It’s tucked in a small neighborhood and situated on top of a seaside cliff. There are expansive views in all directions and you’ll be able to see the sunset from almost any angle. Come experience the magic for yourself!
